What Paperwork Do I Need To Buy a Car?

What You Need to Bring

Shopping for a car can be a stressful process, especially if you don’t know what to expect or what you’ll need to buy a car. At Dream Nissan, we pride ourselves on making the car-buying process smooth and easy. Here’s what you’ll need when you come in and shop with us!

Driver’s License

The first thing you’ll need is a valid driver’s license. We will scan your license before you test drive a car, so make sure you grab your wallet before leaving home!

Proof of Insurance

The Second thing you will need is proof of insurance. If you don’t currently have insurance, you’ll be pointed toward our in-house Allstate agents.

Pay Stub Example

Once you’ve decided to purchase a car at Lawrence Kia, you must show proof of income. Bring in a paystub from the last 30 days to show that you’re currently employed. Paychecks DO NOT count.

Utility Bill Example

The last thing you need is proof of current residency. Bring in a Utility Bill from the last 30 days to show where you currently live.
